Any Pros:Good pay, well known companies, prestige, you learn a lot in a short time period, it opens up a lot of opportunities for you after you leave public accounting, you get a lot of experience at a young age,
Any Cons:long hours, high stress, client service, always changing (sometimes too often) regulated environment, sometimes the work is repetitive and detailed, often work with demanding clients, tight deadlines
Any Advice:Be willing to work long hours. If you stick with the job, the pay is very good. Public accounting firms are very conservative, so you must be willing to conform to their rules and listen and learn for the first several years.
