| Any Pros: | It is a financially rewarding position. It is also very dynamic in that there are a lot of ways to improve performance and think strategically. |
| Any Cons: | The major con is that you deal primarily with call centers and that leads to a career that requires a lot of relocation to advance. There is also a great deal of pressure to continue to improve results, sometimes beyond what is possible. |
| Any Advice: | Be prepared to relocate often and deal with a lot of ramping up and ramping down by the company you work for. Also be prepared to deal with a lot of a employee turnover. Typical call center turnover runs 50% per year. There is the constant threat of consolidation, sending your job overseas to obtain cheaper labor. I have moved 5 time in my 14 year career, which is less than average. |
